Amalga zoning code

4.13 Voting

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Amalga code is at https://www.amalgautah.gov/amalga-town-code. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Amalga planning before you rely on it.
The Commission shall not conduct any business at a meeting unless a quorum is present. A quorum shall consist of a majority of the appointed members of the Commission, including the Chairman for computation purposes. Actions of the Commission pass by majority vote. A majority is a simple majority of those members present at the meeting and entitled to vote on the matter under consideration, but said majority shall never be less than three (3) members who are entitled to vote. The Commissioner elected Vice Chair shall, at all times, be entitled to cast his or her vote as a member of the Commission, including those occasions on which he or she is acting as Chair.
