authority of ordinance of the City Council of Bear River City (hereinafter referred to as "City Council") adopted pursuant to the powers and jurisdictions vested through Chapter 9, Title 10 of the Utah Code, Annotated (1953, as amended) and other applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, and regulations of the State of Utah, the City Council hereby exercises the power and authority to review, approve, and disapprove plats for the subdivision of land within the corporate limits of Bear River City which show lots, blocks, or sites with or without new streets or highways.
