Bluff zoning code

5.04.03 SUBDIVISION DESIGN STANDARDS: PLATS STRADDLING MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Bluff code is at https://townofbluffutah.gov/ordinances/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Bluff planning before you rely on it.
A. In general, lot lines and/or roads shall not be laid out so as to cross municipal boundary lines. B. If the area in the County is not annexed, the Town and the County shall work together in a cooperative arrangement or through an interlocal agreement, if necessary, to ensure that the portion of development lying in the County is as compatible as possible with the Town codes, development regulations and General Plan.
