Trash dumpsters shall be as approved by the Land Use Authority. Dumpsters are encouraged to be screened from public view with vegetation or walls and located in an area accessible by the refuse vehicle and sensitive to limiting backing of the vehicle. If an enclosure is proposed, it shall comply with the building material requirements and be sensitive to the snow and ice accumulations common to the Town. Trash dumpsters shall be purchased by the Town with the cost being borne by the developer. The Town shall require one (1) dumpster for every twenty (20) single-family building lots or condo units, and one (1) dumpster for every four thousand square feet (4,000 sq. ft.) of commercial/office space, unless other rationale is justified by the applicant and approved by the Land Use Authority.
