Cache County zoning code

16.04.050 PROTECTION STRIPS

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Cache County code is at https://www.cachecounty.gov/assets/department/clerk/cachecountyut-ut-2.pdf. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Titles 16 and 17 only, from the PDF on the county's own website (prepared by its code publisher; publisher notes removed). Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Cache County planning before you rely on it.
Protection strips shall not be permitted under any circumstances, nor shall remnant parcels be permitted which may act as protection strips. A protection strip is any piece of ground created to inhibit access to a road, right of way, and/or easement as determined by the land use authority.
