Cache County zoning code

17.16.030 PERMITTED USES

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Cache County code is at https://www.cachecounty.gov/assets/department/clerk/cachecountyut-ut-2.pdf. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Titles 16 and 17 only, from the PDF on the county's own website (prepared by its code publisher; publisher notes removed). Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Cache County planning before you rely on it.
A. Permitted Use: A residential facility for persons with a disability or a residential long term care facility shall be a permitted use in any zoning district where a single-family dwelling is allowed. B. Termination: A use permitted by this chapter is nontransferable and shall terminate if any of the following occur: 1. A facility is devoted to a use other than a residential facility for elderly residents or a residential facility for persons with a disability; 2. The facility fails to comply with the requirements of the issued permits, this section, or other Cache County ordinances; or 3. The license or certification issued by the Utah department of human services or department of health terminates or is revoked.
