Cache County zoning code

17.24.010 PURPOSE

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Cache County code is at https://www.cachecounty.gov/assets/department/clerk/cachecountyut-ut-2.pdf. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Titles 16 and 17 only, from the PDF on the county's own website (prepared by its code publisher; publisher notes removed). Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Cache County planning before you rely on it.
The purpose and objective of this chapter is to establish reasonable and uniform regulations to prevent the concentration of sexually oriented businesses or their location in areas deleterious to the county, regulate the signage of such businesses, control the adverse affects of such signage, and prevent inappropriate exposure of such businesses to the community. This chapter is to be construed as a regulation of time, place and manner of the operation of these businesses, consistent with the United States and Utah constitutions.
