This Ordinance shall be interpreted using the definitions provided in the State of Utah Municipal Land Use, Development, and Management Act (UCA 10-20) and any other ordinance adopted by the Town Council except for, in addition to, or as modified by the following:
BUILDING OFFICIAL. The officer or other designated authority, or duly authorized representative, charged with the administration and enforcement of building codes and standards, for Cannonville Town, State of Utah.
COUNTY. Unless otherwise indicated, Garfield County, State of Utah.
TOWN. Unless otherwise indicated, Cannonville Town, State of Utah.
TOWN ATTORNEY. The Cannonville Town Attorney appointed by the Cannonville Town Council, State of Utah to 1) prosecute individuals who commit any State public offense and Town criminal offense within Cannonville Town, and act as civil legal representation and offer legal advice on behalf of the Town and its officials.
TOWN COUNCIL. The Cannonville Town Council, State of Utah.
LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT. The Southwest Utah Public Health Department.
PLANNING COMMISSION. The Cannonville Town Planning Commission.
STATE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. The State of Utah Department of Environmental Quality.
ZONING MAP AMENDMENT. May also be referred to as “Zone Change”.
