This section hereby establishes the Cannonville Town Administrative Land Use Authority. 12.015 APPOINTMENT. The Town Council shall appoint an individual or firm as the ALUA to consider land use applications arising from subdivision applications within the incorporated areas of Cannonville Town. 12.016 TERMS – REMOVAL FOR CAUSE.
1. The Town Council shall contract with the individual or firm on an annual basis. At the end of each year, the Town Council may elect to continue the contract, or put the contract out to bid. In the event the Town does not contract with a new individual or firm at the end of each calendar year, the current individual or firm shall continue serving as the ALUA until otherwise notified by the Town.
2. The individual or firm may be removed from their position for cause by the Town Council. "Cause" includes, but is not limited to, failing to review, hear, and decide subdivision applications within the required timeframes or committing any act inimical to public service.
