Cleveland zoning code

2-13.19 CONCLUSIVE PRESUMPTION OF ANNEXATION

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Cleveland code is at http://www.clevelandtown.org/planning--zoning.htm. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Zoning ordinance only; the subdivision ordinance is a scanned image on the town's site and is not included. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Cleveland planning before you rely on it.
An area annexed to Cleveland Town under this part shall be conclusively presumed to have been validly annexed if: A. Cleveland Town has levied, and the taxpayers within the area have paid, property taxes for more than one year after annexation; and B. No resident of the area has contested the annexation in a court of proper jurisdiction during the year following annexation.

2-13.18 ELECTRICAL UTILITY SERVICE IN ANNEXED AREA · 2-13.20 FILING OF PLAT OR MAP
