Daniel zoning code

8.05.04 Lot Area

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Daniel code is at https://danielutah.gov/code-and-ordinances/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Title 8 only; a separate 2025 subdivision amendment ordinance is not merged in. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Daniel planning before you rely on it.
The minimum lot area or parcel size in the (P-160) Preservation Zone shall be one hundred sixty (160) acres per single-family dwelling. Grouping of residential development lots may be allowed provided that services are available and density is not increased more than base density, i.e., one (1) unit per one hundred and sixty (160) acres. The approval process for grouping of residential lots is outlined in Chapter 8.27, Development Standards. No density bonuses will be granted for development in the (P160) Preservation Zone.
