Notwithstanding any other provision of this Ordinance, all buildings abutting a highway having a state or federal designation (except non-access highways), shall be set back at least seventy five (75) feet from the near edge of the highway right-of-way. The purpose of this additional setback is to maintain separation between the highway and buildings in the event of future roadway expansion; however, the setback area may be used for non-structural improvements, including landscaping and parking areas.
