Enterprise zoning code

17-08-020 ZONING DISTRICTS: BOUNDARIES--DETERMINATION

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Enterprise code is at https://enterpriseutah.gov/city-ordiances/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Enterprise planning before you rely on it.
Where uncertainty exists as to the boundary of any district as shown on City maps, the following rules shall apply: A. A boundary as indicated as being approximately upon the centerline of a street, alley or block or along a property line, then, unless otherwise definitely indicated on the map, the centerline of such street, alley or block, or such property line shall be construed to be the boundary of such district. B. A boundary line of such a district is indicated as being approximately at the line of any river, irrigation canal or other waterway, or railroad right-of-way, or public park or other public land or any section line, then in such case the center of such stream, canal or waterway, or of public land or such section line shall be deemed to be the boundary of such district. C. Where such district boundary lines cannot be determined by the rules set out in subsection A and B of this section, their location may be found by the use of the scale appearing upon the map. D. Where the application of the rules set out in subsections A through C of this section does not clarify the district boundary locations, the board of adjustment shall interpret the map.
