The purpose of this Ordinance is to protect and promote safety, preserve the ability to view the night sky, and reduce unnecessary light pollution. These regulations are intended to:
A. To protect against glare, light trespass, and excessive brightness; B. To promote safe roadways and public areas; C. Preserve Garden City’s natural night skies for residents and visitors.
