No electrical hookup shall be permitted by the Utah Power and Light Company or any subsidiary thereof for new construction unless a copy of a valid building permit is on file in the offices of the Garden City Clerk. It shall be the responsibility of the utility company to verify building permit issuance prior to providing electrical hookup.
