Genola zoning code

20.03.11 DUTIES AND POWERS OF COMMISSION

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Genola code is at https://genolaut.gov/zoning-code/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Genola planning before you rely on it.
1. The Planning Commission shall make a recommendation to the legislative body for: 1. a general plan and amendments to the general plan; 2. land use ordinances, zoning maps, official maps, and amendments; 3. an appropriate delegation of power to at least one designated land use authority to hear and act on land use applications; 4. an appropriate delegation of power to at least one appeal authority to hear and act on an appeal from a decision of the land use authority; and 5. application processes that: 1. may include a designation of routine land use matters that, upon application and proper notice, will receive informal streamlined review and action if the application is uncontested; and 2. shall protect the right of each: 1. applicant and third party to require formal consideration of any application by a land use authority; 2. applicant, adversely affected party, or municipal officer or employee to appeal a land use authority's decision to a separate appeal authority; and 3. participant to be heard in each public hearing on a contested application.
