Genola zoning code

20.13.04 LOT AREA

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Genola code is at https://genolaut.gov/zoning-code/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Genola planning before you rely on it.
The minimum lot area for any lot or parcel of land shall be two and one-half (2.5) acres. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the minimum lot or parcel size may be reduced by an amount equal to the area between the property line(s) adjacent to a Town street and the centerline of said street, if and only if said street is or will be dedicated to the Town as a result of or in connection with the applicable subdivision process.
