The Kanab Mayor may, with the advice and consent of the Kanab City Council, appoint one or two (2) alternate members of the Planning Commission, who shall serve in the absence of a regular member or regular members of the Planning Commission under rules established by the Planning Commission. Except as just provided, alternate members shall be appointed and serve as described in Sections 2-2 and 2-3.
