Leeds zoning code

22.7 UNLAWFUL SIGNS

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Leeds code is at https://leeds.utah.gov/town-code/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Chapter 10 is a scanned image on the town's site and is not included; chapter 19 is a placeholder and chapter 23 was repealed. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Leeds planning before you rely on it.
22.7.1 Non-Complying Signs. Any sign displayed, erected, installed, suspended, attached, moved, enlarged, replaced, converted or altered after the effective date hereof, which does not comply with the provisions of this Ordinance, shall be deemed unlawful. Any work in progress on such sign shall be ordered by the Town Official to cease immediately and said sign shall be removed in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance 22.7.2 Previous Non-Complying Signs. Signs which were not in compliance and therefore considered unlawful and which continue to be in noncompliance according to the provisions of this Ordinance, shall be deemed unlawful and removed according to the provisions of this Ordinance.
