Every dwelling structure shall be located and maintained on a separate lot having no less than the minimum area, width, depth, and frontage required by this ordinance for the District in which the dwelling structure is located. In zones allowing multiple dwelling units the lot must meet or exceed the required area to accommodate the number of dwelling units to be placed on a lot within the zone. Except for group dwellings, not more than one (1) dwelling structure shall occupy any one (1) lot unless a casita is authorized in specific zoning districts. If a casita is authorized it cannot be rented or used for a business and can only be occupied by family members within the third degree of consanguinity or on a short-term guest basis.
