The City hereby adopts the requirements of the APWA 2026 Manual of Standard Plans and Manual of Standard Specifications, along with the “Public Works Standards and Technical Specifications” prepared in August 1982 by James M. Montgomery Consulting Engineers. The City Engineer shall have the authority to approve alternative designs and standards when there is compelling evidence that an alternative design or standard would be best under the circumstances. From time to time, the City may adopt or replace these documents, in whole or in part, by resolution.
