Piute County zoning code

Subdivision 8-5 FINAL PLAT: Exceptions

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Piute County code is at https://piute.gov/your-government/county-departments/planning-and-zoning/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Piute County planning before you rely on it.
The applicant may request time extensions for the expiration of a final plat approval by submitting a request in writing to the ALUA prior to original expiration date. The ALUA shall review requests for extensions and may only consider the request when the applicant is able to demonstrate no change in circumstance, including physical changes to the property or surroundings, that would result in an unmitigated impact or that would result in a finding of noncompliance with the general plan, zoning ordinance, or this ordinance in effect at the time of the extension request.
