Piute County zoning code

Zoning 7-4 GENERAL PROVISIONS: Easements and Rights-of Way

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Piute County code is at https://piute.gov/your-government/county-departments/planning-and-zoning/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Piute County planning before you rely on it.
Uses of easements and/or rights-of-way shall be permitted in all zoning districts. Such easements and/or rights-of-way may be used for uses similar to, but not limited to the following: 1. roads, streets, highways, railroads, tramways, cableways and conveyor systems; 2. pipelines for the transmission of water, waste water, materials, fuels or products; 3. overhead or underground transmission or distribution lines, including poles, towers and conductors; and 4. structures and facilities incidental to the above.
