Pleasant View zoning code

17.10.070 Nature and Effective Period of Approval

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Pleasant View code is at https://www.pleasantviewut.gov/213/Municipal-Code. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Pleasant View planning before you rely on it.
1. The approval of a Minor Subdivision Application shall be effective for a period of one (1) year from the date the final plat is approved by the City, at the end of which time the subdivision plat shall have been recorded in the Office of the Weber County Recorder. If the approved final plat is not recorded within the one (1) year period of date of approval the subdivision approval shall be void, and the applicant(s) shall be required to submit a new minor subdivision application, subject to the then existing application provisions of this Ordinance and all other applicable City, State and Federal requirements. 2. The City Council, for cause and under circumstances as determined appropriated by the Council, may extend the effective approval period in one year or less increments upon request by the applicant. Pursuant to Chapter 18.70 Adequacy Public Facilities, a new positive (or conditional) adequacy determination must be obtained and adopted by Council prior to approval of an extension. Otherwise, an extension cannot be granted. (Ord.2024-2, dated 1/9/24)
