17.16.020 Notice and Hearing Requirements for Proposed Changes to Recorded Plats

1. Except for lot line adjustments, as found herein, and for any proposed change that is accompanied by a petition containing the signatures of all owners within the subdivision and there have been no objections from owner’s within the subdivision, all proposed changes shall require a public meeting before the Land Use Authority by providing notice at least ten days prior to the meeting to: a. Notice to affected entities. 2. A public hearing will be required if the petition does not contain signatures of all owners within the subdivision and/or there are objections from owner’s within the subdivision by providing notice at least ten day prior to the meeting to: a. All owners within the subdivision; or placement of signs provided by the City on the property and/or at locations as determined by the city which would offer the best chance for public observation. Such signs shall remain in place until the conclusion of the process, as determined by the city. b. Posting on the City web site. b. Notice to affected entities. c. Utah Public Notice Website. 3. For changes involving the vacating or alteration of a street or alley, notices shall be given as found in §10-20, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, as amended. 4.
