Each public utility substation in a residential zone shall be provided with a yard on each of the four sides of the building not less than five feet in width, except that for such stations located on lots fronting on a street abutted by one or more residential lots, the front yard, side yards, and rear yard shall equal those required for a single-family residence in the same zone.
