For purposes of this title, words used in the present tense include the future
and the future includes the present; the singular includes the plural and vice-versa; the word "lot" includes the word "plot", "tract" or "parcel of land", as the sense may require it. The word masculine includes the feminine and vice-versa; the term "erected" means "constructed", "altered", "moved" or "repaired". The words "shall" and "must" are always mandatory. The word "district" is synonymous with the word "zone"; the term "building inspector" is synonymous with the term "zoning administrator".
