Sanpete County zoning code

14.64.020 TEMPORARY USES: Application

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Sanpete County code is at https://www.sanpetecountyutah.gov/174/Planning-Zoning. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Sanpete County planning before you rely on it.
Temporary activities shall be allowed upon the issuance of a temporary use permit by the Zoning Administrator and Building Inspections Department. The applicant for a temporary use permit shall provide the following information: 1. A description of the proposed use, the proposed beginning and ending dates, and the proposed hours of operation. 2. A description of the property to be used for the temporary use, including the location of the use in relation to other buildings, and the location of streets to be used for access. 3. Sufficient information to determine that adequate provisions for trash disposal and sanitary facilities shall be provided. 4. Additional information as may be required by the Zoning Administrator or Building Department in order to ensure surrounding land uses are not negatively impacted by the temporary use.
