Wellington zoning code

13-3-6 VIOLATION AND PENALTY

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Wellington code is at https://www.wellingtonutah.gov/land-use-code.html. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Wellington planning before you rely on it.
Any person, firm or corporation whether acting as owner or occupant of the premises involved, or contractor, or otherwise, who violates or refuses to comply with any of the provisions of this title, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction shall be punished by a fine in any sum not exceeding two hundred and ninety-nine dollars ($299), or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not longer than six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. In imposing the fine, the court may, in default of the payment of the fine enter as part of the judgment that the violator may be imprisoned in the county jail for a period of not exceeding six (6) months. A separate offense shall be deemed to be committed on each day an offense occurs or continues.
