Wendover zoning code

10-7-12 TIME LIMIT

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Wendover code is at https://wendovercityutah.com/planning-%26-zoning. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Wendover planning before you rely on it.
1. A conditional use permit for temporary uses may be issued for a maximum period of one (1) year, with renewals at the discretion of the Planning Commission for no more than three (3) successive periods thereafter. 2. Unless there is substantial action under a conditional use permit within a maximum period of one (1) year of its issuance, said permit shall expire. The Planning Commission may grant one extension up to six months, when deemed in the public interest. The approval of a proposed conditional use permit by the Planning Commission shall authorize only the particular use for which it was issued.
