The Board of Adjustment shall consist of five (5) members and whatever alternate members that the Mayor considers appropriate and which shall constitute a quorum. One member, but not more than one member of the Planning Commission shall be a member of the Board of Adjustment. Members of the Board of Adjustment shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Town Council. In addition, there may be one (1) ex-officio member to be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Town Council. This ex officio member will be without voting power and shall be a member of the Garden City Town Council.
The members of the Board of Adjustment shall serve and be compensated as per resolution. The Town Council shall provide for the reimbursement of the members of the Board of Adjustment for reasonable expenses incurred in performing their duties as member of the Board of Adjustment.
