The Appeal Authority shall meet no less than 10 working days and no more than 15 working days after receiving an appeal and at any other times that the Board may determine. The Board shall adopt such rules and regulations as it deems necessary to carry into effect the provisions and purposes of this Ordinance.
On the first meeting date of each year the Appeal Authority shall meet and organize by electing a Chairperson and a Vice-Chairperson to serve as such for one (1) year. Any member may be reelected for an additional term as Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson. There is no limit to the number of terms a member may serve as Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson. If for any reason, the position of Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson is vacated before the elected member’s term has expired, the Board shall elect from among its members a successor, who shall serve for the remainder of the un-expired term.
