Lehi zoning code

11.010 Concept Plan - Purpose

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Lehi code is at https://www.lehi-ut.gov/government/codes-ordinances/development-code/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Lehi planning before you rely on it.
(Amended 08/13/02; 06/10/25) A. The purpose of a concept plan is to promote an efficient and transparent development approval process by providing applicants and City officials with an early opportunity to discuss potential projects. A The City may require a concept plan under certain conditions specified in Section 11.020. B. The concept plan serves as an opportunity for the applicant, city staff, Planning Commission, and City Council to review and discuss a project in its early, conceptual stage. During these discussions, applicants can seek guidance on site layout, infrastructure requirements, exceptions on design requirements, and approval procedures. Topics such as street configuration, drainage, water and sewer systems, fire protection, and other relevant considerations can be addressed prior to the preparation of a more detailed preliminary subdivision plat or site plan.
