Moroni zoning code

10-11-3 Permit,

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Moroni code is at https://moronicity.gov/city-government/city-ordinances/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Moroni planning before you rely on it.
Prior Approval Required Prior to the establishment of any of the above uses, or temporary uses similar thereto, a temporary use permit must be obtained from the Planning Commission. In granting said permit, the Planning Commission shall make the following findings: 1. That the conduct of the requested use will not have any detrimental effects on adjacent properties and will be in general harmony with surrounding uses. 2. That the requested use will not create excessive traffic hazards on adjacent streets and that traffic control, if necessary, shall be provided at the expense of the applicant. 3. That the applicant shall have sufficient liability insurance for the requested use or event. 4. That the applicant shall provide, at this own expense, for the restoration of the site of said use to its original condition, including such cleanup, washing and replacement of facilities as may be necessary. 5. That said use shall occupy the site for a period not to exceed ten (10) days, except for Christmas tree lots which shall not exceed a period of thirty (30) days, and campaign headquarters which may be established for a maximum period to be determined by the Planning Commission.
