Moroni zoning code

10-12-7 Reconstruction of Non-Conforming Building Partially Destroyed

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Moroni code is at https://moronicity.gov/city-government/city-ordinances/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Moroni planning before you rely on it.
A non-conforming building destroyed to the extent of not more than fifty percent (50%) of its reasonable replacement value at the time of its destruction by fire, explosion or other casualty or act of God, or public enemy, may be restored and the occupancy or use of such building or part thereof which existed at the time of such partial destruction may be continued, subject to all of the provisions of this Chapter. (Ord. 2000-4-12, 4-12-2000)
