Piute County zoning code

Subdivision 3-2 DESIGN STANDARDS: Lot Standards

Unofficial copy. It may be out of date. Not legal or zoning advice. Zoning rules change, and only the city or county can say for sure what is allowed on a property. Confirm with the city or county planning department before you buy, sign or build. The official Piute County code is at https://piute.gov/your-government/county-departments/planning-and-zoning/. Text pulled 2026-10-19 from this source. Tables (like use tables) may not copy cleanly, so check any table against the official code. Confirm anything here with Piute County planning before you rely on it.
All lots in a subdivision shall meet the following minimum standards: 1. Lots and buildings shall meet the minimum area, width, and setback requirements of the Piute County Zoning Ordinance. 2. Lots with a private or shared well shall have written approval from the State of Utah Division of Water Rights, Division of Drinking Water, and the local or State health department. 4. Lots on a cul-de-sac shall have a minimum 30’ width at the front property line.
